# Treasury Help Center > How to use Treasury, the personal finance app with an AI money coach. Each guide is a short how-to that opens with its answer and is checked against the current app. Links point to plain Markdown copies; the same pages are at https://treasury.sh/help. ## Getting started - [What Treasury does](https://treasury.sh/help/what-treasury-does.md): Treasury brings your accounts, transactions, budgets, bills and net worth into one place, with Treasury AI to answer questions about them. - [Get started with Treasury](https://treasury.sh/help/get-started.md): Create your account with Google, Apple or email, link your banks, and Treasury sets up your categories and a first budget for you. - [Use Treasury on iPhone, iPad or the web](https://treasury.sh/help/iphone-and-web.md): Use Treasury in the iPhone and iPad app or in your web browser, with one account and the same data everywhere. - [First week with Treasury](https://treasury.sh/help/first-week.md): In your first week, connect every bank, categorize new transactions, check your first budget and bills, then ask Treasury AI about your money. - [Switch from Monarch or another app](https://treasury.sh/help/switch-from-monarch.md): Export your history from Monarch, Apple Card, Rocket Money or a CSV, connect the banks you still use, then import straight away. ## Banks and accounts - [Connect or reconnect your bank](https://treasury.sh/help/connect-your-bank.md): Connect a bank in Settings → Connections, then use Reconnect or Sync when it stops updating. - [Fix bank connection problems](https://treasury.sh/help/fix-bank-connection.md): Find the message or problem you see when connecting a bank, such as a login that fails or a missing account, and follow its fix. - [Rename, exclude or remove a bank account](https://treasury.sh/help/bank-accounts.md): Rename one account from a connected bank, leave it out of your net worth with Exclude, or remove it once it no longer syncs. - [Add or update a manual account](https://treasury.sh/help/manual-accounts.md): Add an account Treasury can't connect in Settings → Manual Accounts, then keep its balance up to date yourself, because manual accounts never sync. - [Import transactions from a CSV](https://treasury.sh/help/import-csv.md): Import transactions from Monarch, Apple Card, Rocket Money or any CSV file in Settings → Data Import, and undo an import within 7 days. ## Transactions - [Review new transactions](https://treasury.sh/help/review-transactions.md): Turbo-Review on Transactions shows each uncategorized transaction in turn, newest first, so you can give it a category, exclude it or fix it. - [Search and filter transactions](https://treasury.sh/help/search-transactions.md): Search Transactions by name, then use Filter (the funnel) to narrow by category, account, tag or amount and to sort by date, amount or name. - [Edit, split or delete a transaction](https://treasury.sh/help/edit-transactions.md): Open a transaction in Transactions to change its details, split a bill or exclude it, and restore deleted ones from Trash within 30 days. - [Create, edit or merge categories](https://treasury.sh/help/categories.md): Create, edit or delete income, expense and savings categories in Settings → Categories, and merge two by deleting one into the other. - [Auto-categorize transactions](https://treasury.sh/help/auto-categorize.md): Treasury uses AI to categorize new transactions, and you choose how much it applies in Settings → Auto-Categorize. - [Tag transactions](https://treasury.sh/help/tags.md): Tags label transactions across categories, such as a trip, and you can create them in Settings → Tags or while tagging a transaction. - [Transfers between your accounts](https://treasury.sh/help/transfers.md): Treasury marks money moving between your own connected accounts, and Handle Internal Transfers decides if those transfers count, are excluded or deleted. ## Budgets - [Create a budget](https://treasury.sh/help/create-a-budget.md): Select New Budget in Budgets, then choose its details, categories and amounts in four short steps. - [Budget totals explained](https://treasury.sh/help/budget-totals.md): Income, Expenses and Savings compare your categories with your budget, while Net Cashflow is all money in minus all money out. - [Budget charts and insights](https://treasury.sh/help/budget-insights.md): Below a budget's totals, its charts compare each category with its budget and list your most frequent merchants and largest transactions for the period. - [Edit, pin or delete a budget](https://treasury.sh/help/edit-budgets.md): Change a budget with Edit budget (the pencil), star it to pin it, choose which one Home shows, or delete it without touching your transactions. ## Recurring - [Track recurring bills and subscriptions](https://treasury.sh/help/recurring.md): Recurring puts your bills, subscriptions and income on a calendar, where you can add, edit, pause, end or delete each one. - [Review detected bills](https://treasury.sh/help/review-recurring.md): Recurring → Review lists bills Treasury detected for you to add or mark Not recurring, and its Inactive tab restores ended items. - [Find subscriptions to cancel](https://treasury.sh/help/cancel-subscriptions.md): List your subscriptions in Recurring, spot price rises, ask Treasury AI for a Subscription audit, cancel with each company, then mark the item ended. ## Net worth and investments - [Track your net worth](https://treasury.sh/help/net-worth.md): Net Worth adds up what you own across your accounts, subtracts what you owe, saves the total once a day, and lets you fix past days in History. - [Add and track investments](https://treasury.sh/help/investments.md): Investments shows holdings from connected brokerages and ones you add by hand, valued at each US trading day's closing price where Treasury has one. - [Credit cards and loans](https://treasury.sh/help/credit-cards-and-loans.md): Credit cards and loans count as liabilities in your net worth, and their pages show what you owe, when it's due, your rate and your credit utilization. ## Treasury AI - [Treasury AI: what it can and can't do](https://treasury.sh/help/treasury-ai.md): Treasury AI answers questions using your Treasury data, but it can't change your records, move money or cancel anything for you. - [Chat with Treasury AI](https://treasury.sh/help/chat-with-treasury-ai.md): Ask Treasury AI on Home or the Treasury AI page by typing, picking a suggestion or dictating, and it can answer with cards and charts of your data. - [Control what Treasury AI remembers](https://treasury.sh/help/treasury-ai-memory.md): Treasury AI remembers facts you share in chat, and you can review, edit or delete them, or turn learning off, in Settings → Memory. ## Account and billing - [Plans, trial and billing](https://treasury.sh/help/plans-and-billing.md): Treasury is one membership, paid monthly or yearly after a 14-day free trial, that you manage or cancel in Settings → Subscription or the App Store. - [Sign in or recover your account](https://treasury.sh/help/sign-in.md): Treasury has no passwords, so you sign in with Google, Apple, a passkey or an emailed code, and recover a lost passkey by email. - [Change your name, email or preferences](https://treasury.sh/help/preferences.md): Settings → Preferences sets your Home budget, currency, notifications and theme, and Settings → Account changes your name and email. - [Use more than one currency](https://treasury.sh/help/currencies.md): Each transaction keeps its own currency, and Treasury converts it into your primary currency at that day's exchange rate for totals and net worth. - [Notifications, emails and widgets](https://treasury.sh/help/notifications.md): The Treasury iPhone app sends budget, bank and payment alerts you choose in Settings → Preferences, and Treasury emails you about sign-in, billing and setup. - [Contact support](https://treasury.sh/help/contact-support.md): Send a help request, bug report, idea or billing question from Help & feedback in the app, or email Treasury support if you can't sign in. - [Privacy and data security](https://treasury.sh/help/privacy.md): Treasury reads your accounts through Plaid but can't move money, and you decide what Treasury AI keeps, which banks to share and when to delete data. - [Delete your account](https://treasury.sh/help/delete-account.md): Delete your account in Settings → Account, which permanently removes your data and cancels a subscription you pay for on the web.
