How to cancel Disney+
To cancel Disney+, log in to DisneyPlus.com in a browser, select your profile, then Account, choose your Disney+ subscription and select Cancel Subscription. If Apple, Google Play, Amazon or another partner bills you, cancel with them. Cancel before 11:59 p.m. ET the day before your term ends to avoid the next charge.

Cancel where you pay
Check your receipt or statement for who bills you, then use that route. Cancelling in the wrong place, or deleting the app, can leave the plan renewing.

Cancel Disney+: Disney+ directly
- Log in to DisneyPlus.com in a computer or mobile browser.
- Select your profile, then Account.
- Select your Disney+ subscription under Subscription.
- Select Cancel Subscription.
If you signed up through Roku, Disney+ says to manage or cancel directly through Disney+.
Cancel Disney+: Apple App Store
- Open Settings and tap your name.
- Tap Subscriptions, then Disney+.
- Tap Cancel Subscription.
Cancel Disney+: Google Play
- In Google Play in a browser, click your account icon and select Payment & subscriptions.
- Open the Subscriptions tab and select Disney+.
- Click Manage, then Cancel subscription.
Cancel Disney+: Amazon
- Go to Amazon Memberships and Subscriptions in a browser and sign in.
- Find Disney+ and select Cancel Subscription.
When it ends and what it costs
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current term. To avoid the next charge, cancel before 11:59 p.m. Eastern on the day before the term ends. Source: Disney+
- Except where the law requires, Disney+ does not refund or credit partly used terms, though it may on a case-by-case basis. Source: Disney+
What trips people up
- If a partner such as a phone or cable company bills you, cancel through that partner. Source: Disney+ Help Center
- Cancelling a Disney+, Hulu, ESPN bundle leaves any original Hulu, ESPN or third-party subscription running at its then-current price. Source: Disney+ Help Center
- Monthly plans billed by Disney+ can be paused instead, under Account › Subscription › Pause Subscription. Source: Disney+ Help Center
- On Google Play, uninstalling the app does not cancel the subscription. Source: Google Play
Still charged after you cancelled?
- Keep the cancellation confirmation (email, screenshot or letter) with its date. It is your evidence if a charge appears later.
- Contact Disney+ first through the route above and ask for the charge to be reversed.
- If that fails, your bank or card issuer can help. The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau explains how to stop automatic payments from a bank account, including telling the company in writing that you have revoked permission.

Does cancelling Disney+ delete my account?
No. Disney+ says cancelling does not delete your Disney+ account or MyDisney account.
Will I get a refund if I cancel Disney+?
Usually not for a partly used term, except where the law requires; Disney+ says it may refund case by case. You keep access to the end of the term.
