How to cancel Experian
To cancel a paid Experian membership, sign in at experian.com; you are taken to your membership settings, where you switch from the paid monthly plan to the free membership. You can also call Experian’s membership line on 1-866-617-1894. You keep a free Experian account with your credit report and FICO Score.
Checked October 16, 2026 against Experian's own help pages, linked beside each step. These steps and terms are for US plans; other countries can differ. We are not affiliated with Experian. We make Treasury, a finance app that finds recurring charges; it does not cancel anything for you.
Cancel where you pay
Check your receipt or statement for who bills you, then use that route. Cancelling in the wrong place, or deleting the app, can leave the plan renewing.

What trips people up
- Cancelling online means downgrading to a free account, so an Experian account stays open with your credit report and FICO Score. Source: Experian

Still charged after you cancelled?
- Keep the cancellation confirmation (email, screenshot or letter) with its date. It is your evidence if a charge appears later.
- Contact Experian first through the route above and ask for the charge to be reversed.
- If that fails, your bank or card issuer can help. The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau explains how to stop automatic payments from a bank account, including telling the company in writing that you have revoked permission.

Our product
Find the subscriptions you forgot about
Treasury connects to your bank and card accounts, finds recurring charges, including quarterly and annual ones, and shows when each is next due, so you can cancel before it renews. It does not cancel for you, and its list still needs a quick review. If you want someone to do the cancelling, our subscription tracker comparison covers the app that offers that.
