How to cancel Planet Fitness
To cancel Planet Fitness, log in to the member portal on planetfitness.com, send written notice by mail to your home club, or visit your home club in person. The club must receive your request at least 8 days before your next billing date to stop that charge. A membership with a minimum term ended early needs a $58 buyout fee.

Cancel where you pay
Check your receipt or statement for who bills you, then use that route. Cancelling in the wrong place, or deleting the app, can leave the plan renewing.

Still charged after you cancelled?
- Keep the cancellation confirmation (email, screenshot or letter) with its date. It is your evidence if a charge appears later.
- Contact Planet Fitness first through the route above and ask for the charge to be reversed.
