How to cancel SiriusXM
To cancel SiriusXM, go to the Subscriptions tab in the SiriusXM Online Account Center, chat with an agent, or call 866-635-8641. If Apple, Google Play, Roku or T-Mobile bills you, cancel with them instead. Cancel at least 24 hours before renewal; the plan then ends at the end of the billing period.

Cancel where you pay
Check your receipt or statement for who bills you, then use that route. Cancelling in the wrong place, or deleting the app, can leave the plan renewing.

Cancel SiriusXM: SiriusXM directly
- Go to the Subscriptions tab in the Online Account Center (siriusxm.com/myaccount) and follow the cancellation instructions.
- Or use Chat with an agent now on siriusxm.com/cancel.
- Or call 866-635-8641. SiriusXM’s Contact Us page lists call-centre hours.
SiriusXM’s Customer Agreement describes online cancellation for Streaming (App-Only) plans and phone or chat for every plan, so a car radio plan may need chat or a call.
Cancel SiriusXM: Apple App Store
- Open Settings and tap your name.
- Tap Subscriptions, then SiriusXM.
- Tap Cancel Subscription.
SiriusXM says plans bought in its iOS app are billed through Apple.
Cancel SiriusXM: Google Play
- Open subscriptions in Google Play.
- Select SiriusXM.
- Tap Cancel subscription.
SiriusXM says plans bought in its Android app, including Android TV, are billed through Google Play.
Cancel SiriusXM: Roku
- On a computer or phone, go to my.roku.com and sign in. You cannot cancel in the SiriusXM app.
- Select manage your subscriptions.
- Find SiriusXM under active subscriptions, select cancel subscription and choose a reason.
Cancel SiriusXM: T-Mobile
- On T-Mobile.com, go to Account, choose the phone number, then Manage Add-ons.
- Deselect the SiriusXM feature, select Continue, then Agree & Submit.
In the T-Mobile app: Account › Manage Data and Add-ons, then deselect SiriusXM.
When it ends and what it costs
- Cancelling stops future charges. It takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle, with no refund for a partial period. Source: SiriusXM
- Plans bought through Apple stop at the end of the current billing cycle. Source: SiriusXM
- Cancel a monthly plan within 7 days of its start and it ends immediately, with a pro-rata refund if you ask. This does not apply to renewals. Source: SiriusXM
- Cancel a quarterly or annual plan within 30 days of its start or of any renewal charge and it ends immediately, with a pro-rata refund if you ask. Source: SiriusXM
- Some offers carry cancellation or early termination fees, which SiriusXM says are disclosed in that offer’s details. Source: SiriusXM
What trips people up
- Cancel at least 24 hours before your renewal date, or you may be charged for another period. Source: SiriusXM
- Uninstalling the app, selling or trading in your car, or not using the service does not cancel. Each subscription is cancelled separately. Source: SiriusXM
- SiriusXM cannot cancel a plan billed by someone else. Check your bank statement to see who bills you. Source: SiriusXM
Still charged after you cancelled?
- Keep the cancellation confirmation (email, screenshot or letter) with its date. It is your evidence if a charge appears later.
- Contact SiriusXM first through the route above and ask for the charge to be reversed.
- If that fails, your bank or card issuer can help. The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau explains how to stop automatic payments from a bank account, including telling the company in writing that you have revoked permission.

Can I cancel SiriusXM online?

Does selling my car cancel SiriusXM?
No. SiriusXM says selling or trading in your vehicle does not cancel the subscription. Cancel it yourself.
Do I get a refund when I cancel SiriusXM?
Only inside the early windows: 7 days from the start of a monthly plan, or 30 days from the start or renewal of a quarterly or annual plan, if you ask. Otherwise the plan runs to the end of the period with no partial refund.
